Whether you are seeking therapy at this time because you are curious about certain aspects of your life; you are looking for help dealing with unavoidable frustration, distress or difficulties; or you need support for other reasons entirely, I applaud the courage it took for you to want more for yourself. I admire your curiosity and strength to examine what life can look like on the other side of meaningful change despite how confusing, labyrinthine and unclear the journey might seem at first blush.

It can feel very frustrating and isolating to experience certain challenges and difficulties without knowing where the path may take you. It is for this reason that I seek to create and maintain a safe, warm, authentic, genuine, and accepting space for clients to explore themselves and their issues. They can uncover and overcome obstacles as they get to know themselves better and develop deep insights, as well as a valuable repertoire of coping strategies.

My clinical work, interests, and experiences have afforded me the opportunity to work with diverse populations, varying widely in terms of presenting issues, culture, ethnicity, age, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation and gender identity. It would be a privilege to help you navigate difficult and nebulous situations; unpack uncomfortable and distressing feelings and experiences; gain a clearer understanding of your challenges; and reach goals that seemed at one time impossible.

In our first session together, I utilize a client-centered approach and attend to the nuances and complexities of your inner life. We work collaboratively to explore the significant relationships and interpersonal dynamics that make up your world and the major events that have defined your life, as well as those that currently play a central role. From there, we focus on subjective experiences, so that you can gain a better understanding of yourself and illuminate a path forward through curiosity, meaning, fulfillment, and purpose.

To help you accomplish this, I work integratively and draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy (SFT), emotion focused therapy (EFT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic and existential therapy.

I am currently completing a doctoral degree in psychology at Adler Graduate Professional School. I have a Master’s Psychology degree from Adler’s and a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from Queen’s University. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a member of the Ontario Psychological Association and the Canadian Psychological Association.

I look forward to meeting with you and helping you find a clear and bright path toward healing, personal growth, and meaningful change.
